In Memoriam: Andrew Tarshis, PhD 1973

Connie Arthur, B.S. 1975
I am running a 100-acre equestrian center near the Central Sierra Foothills. We usually have about 60 horses here. Come by and visit.

Gail Bakker, B.S. 1985
I am currently working as a hydrologist for the U.S. Forest Service at the Tahoe National Forest. I live in Grass Valley with my husband and we enjoy cycling and hiking.

Dennis P. Davie, B.S. 1982
I am currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Santa Cruz Group, Ventana Chapter of the Sierra Club and its Forestry Task Force.

Jennie Fuller, B.S. 2000
In Portland, Oregon enjoying volcanoes, the gorge, the coast and all the other great geology up here. Working at the environmental consulting firm as staff geologist.

Brian Globerman, PhD 1985
Currently working as Systems Engineer for the Loudeye Corporation in Seattle, a business-to-business distributor of digital music and content.

Tracy Connell Hancock, M.S. 1993
Currently working as a hydrologist with the USGS Virginia Water Sciences Center. Daughter Meghan is almost eight years old.

Karen Hanson, M.S. 1994
Karen has recently been invited to University of Phoenix-Sacramento as facilitator to ground, Flex Net and online science programs.

Edmond Ken Lee, B.S. 2004
I am currently working as a geologist for a private consulting firm, GeoSystems, Inc. in Glendale, CA. This career path has been very fun and a great learning experience. I hope to get my R.G. and C.E.G. license for California in the near future.

Fred Phillips, B.A. 1976
I am still a professor of Hydrology at New Mexico Tech (Socorro, NM). I am currently heading up the CRONUS-Earth Project (Cosmic-Ray produced Nuclide Systematic on Earth Project), and international effort to improve cosmogenic-nuclide geochronology. I received the Kirk Bryan award for Research Excellence from the Quaternary Geology and Geomophology Division of the GSA at the 2005 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City.

Leonard Thompson, B.S. 1994
Been working as a jazz pianist for the past 10 years.
